We are looking forward to being with you for the WOW Women’s/Teen Retreat, “Seasons of the Heart”, on February 27 and 28, at the Embassy Suites in Grapevine, Texas. We have had a wonderful response with over 250 people planning to attend! On Friday, registration will begin at 3:00pm. We will have registration tables set up in the hotel. Please look for signs or ask the hotel clerk who will be near the front door to direct you to us. At check-in you will be given your room key, T-shirt (if you ordered one) and a booklet containing the program, schedule, and other information. We have a few extra t-shirts available if anyone is interested. If you are planning on shopping before 3:00pm at the Grapevine Mall, (which is located next door), the hotel has offered to store your luggage in a secure area. Your suite will include 2 remote controlled televisions, microwave oven, mini-refrigerator, coffee and coffeemaker as well as an iron and ironing board, built-in hairdryer, sleeper sofa and 2 double beds. Long distance phone calls, movie rentals and room service are extra charges and are not included in your registration cost. If there are any extra charges on your room bill, we will get in touch with you and request any additional funds after the retreat. The original schedule posted on the website, has been slightly changed for Friday night. We will begin seating at 6:40pm, and will be eating closer to 7:00pm. If you need a little snack before dinner, the hotel provides Hors D’oeuvres at 5:30pm. Please feel free to wear pants or jeans if you’d like. We want everyone to feel comfortable! On Saturday morning, we will meet back at 8:00am for announcements and our first speaker for the day. At 9:15am, we will then have a “cooked to order” breakfast buffet, which will serve as our brunch. The rest of the days schedule will be provided for you in the booklet you will be receiving. The brunch will be the only served meal and the retreat is scheduled to be over at 2:00pm. One thing to keep in mind, we will have a silent auction with different items that will be set up in our conference room. These items will include, Southern Living basket sets, flower arrangements, a quilt, and much, much more. All proceeds will help with the cost of the retreat. So, keep that in mind, and don’t spend all your money at the Mall! We are all very excited about our WOW weekend!
